2010

I am Igor Galochkin (Игорь Галочкин), a computer sciences student at TU Munich. I develop for Android and iOS at WebToGo GmbH. I am also publishing smartphone games/apps under the name Nuclear Fox (see the apps on Google Play).

I am interested in job offers in gamedev in USA or Canada, where I'd like to move after graduation in October 2012. I specialize in Unity3d and native Android and iOS. See CV or LinkedIn profile for details.

My short biography:

I've been doing quite a lot of stuff in my life before becoming a programmer. As a kid I wanted to become an artist. Some early works:

I learnt sculpture and painting at Moscow Art Licuem. Some works from that time:

After school I studied economics at Moscow Insitute of International Relations and made Bachelor, Master and then PhD. As a PhD student I did research in behavioral economics. MyPhD thesis (Russian) discusses how psychology and biology influenced economists' view of human behavior throughout XX century. I've taught Economics in Moscow for a few years.

Since 2002 I've also been developing hobby games and apps. At some point I realized this was the stuff I liked even more than doing science (though it was really a tough choice). In 2009 I enrolled for full-time computer sciences Bachelor at TU Munich which will hopefully be done in September 2012. I currently have about 4 years of experience as an employed programmer and know about 12 programming languages (C++, Java, Objective C, C# and other) and have experience with a variety of technologies: Android, iOS, Windows, .NET, MS Sharepoint, DirectX/OpenGL/Unity3d and other.
